Dearest Members of the Beloved Community:
We are living in challenging times. Never before has our nation understood the importance of preserving and protecting the brave individuals who fight, day after day, to ensure a federal government that respects civil rights and the ability to speak out without fear of retaliation when abuse and corruption ARE discovered. The No FEAR Coalition has been at the forefront of this battle to reclaim the federal government for the people of this country. The members and supporters of this organization are often, themselves, government “insiders” WHO have courageously REFUSED TO turn[ed] the other eye when they have seen corruption and discrimination in the federal government.
With little or no funds, this group of federal government “insiders” has worked tirelessly to improve the federal government for not only this generation but the next as well. The achievements are impressive: the passage of the first [C]ivil [R]ights law of the 21st century: the Notification of Federal Employees Anti-discrimination and Retaliation Act
(No FEAR), the introduction of the second of a package of No FEAR legislative initiatives: the Congressional Disclosures Act (CDA), support for the US Civil Rights Tax Relief Act and the up-coming introduction of No FEAR II by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX). In addition, the Institute provided leadership for the incredibly successful Whistleblower Week in Washington (W3) that brought victims of retaliation and policymakers together in the halls of Congress to discuss legislative remedies for retaliation, discrimination and corruption in the federal government.
If that was not enough, the Institute authored the No FEAR Report Card, numerous press conferences, media alerts, informational e-mails, educational and presented the No FEAR Awards to deserving individuals and notification to agencies that need to improve.
Just imagine what this organization could do with funding? We come asking you for your generous support so that we can continue to fight the good fight for what Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. called the “beloved community”[enclose the period within the quotation marks.] [Our goal is to create] A community free of racism, sexism, handicapped discrimination and where whistleblowers are considered patriotic instead of troublemakers. Imagine. With your support, we can make this vision a reality. Whether you are able to give ten dollars or ten thousand dollars, your help is greatly needed- and deeply appreciated. Please send your contribution today to the address above. Or CLICK THE PAYPAL BUTTON BELOW TO MAKE YOUR DONATIONS
Sincerely,
